This module is used for:
"Toggler" (A Slide-Out Panel)
This is the module's primary function. It displays a "Handle" (the Toggler) on the screen. When a user clicks this handle, a panel containing your module(s) slides into view. Clicking it again hides the panel.
This mode is used for:
- Persistent Navigation: Creating "off-canvas" menus that are always accessible but never in the way.
- Utility Access: Providing a slide-out panel for a Login Form, Search Bar, or Shopping Cart module.
- Saving Space: Hiding secondary content (like social media feeds or archives) in a vertical tab on the side of the screen.
"Pop Up" (A Dismissible Notice)
In this mode, the module displays its content open by default, along with an 'x' button. This is not a "toggle"; it is a "close" button. When the user clicks the 'x', the module is hidden and stays hidden.
This mode is used for:
- Special Announcements: Displaying a "Black Friday Sale" or "New Feature" banner.
- Alerts & Notices: Informing users of site maintenance or important updates.
- Newsletter Sign-ups: Presenting a call-to-action that the user can dismiss.
